The short version

Momo is for a few friends you choose. Your photos go to them and nobody else. We don't sell anything about you, we don't show ads, and we don't track you around other apps.

What we keep

Your name, username and profile photo, so your friends know it's you. How you signed in, and the email Apple shares with us, which can be a private address Apple makes for you. Your birthday, to check you're 13 or older and to work out your star sign. Your friends, your groups and who you've blocked. An address Apple gives us so we can tell your iPhone to refresh your Momo cards. The one photo each friend or group is showing right now, so it can reach their Home Screens. It's deleted after 24 hours, or sooner if someone sends a new one. Momo keeps no history.

Reported photos

If a photo is reported, the report is kept, and a private copy of the photo is held for 30 days so it can be reviewed. We don't otherwise look through your photos.

What we don't collect

Your contacts, your location, or anything from your camera roll you don't send.

Who sees what

A photo you send is seen only by the friends you sent it to. Your username can be found by someone who types it exactly. There's no list to browse. Strangers see your initials. Friends and anyone with a pending friend request see your profile photo. Nobody sees your birthday.

Who helps run Momo

Supabase stores accounts and photos. Apple handles Sign in with Apple and delivers the signal that refreshes your cards. These services keep short technical logs, like IP addresses, to run and protect their systems.

Your choices

Block or report anyone. Photos you make go to your own camera roll, and you can turn that off in You. Delete your account in You > Privacy and safety.

When you delete your account

Your account, profile and birthday go, along with your friends and group memberships. Photos you've sent are gone within 24 hours at most. A report that involves you stays on file without your name attached, and a reported photo's copy is held for up to 30 days.

Children

Momo isn't for anyone under 13. We ask for your birthday at sign-up and don't let anyone younger in.
